My deepest condolences to the Salm family, especially her children Jennifer, Jaime, and Christopher. I will always remember the warmth and kindness Mrs. Salm showed to me when I was a child. One silly memory that’s stuck with me: whenever I see water splashed around a bathroom sink, I hear her voice, gentle but firm, reminding us to wipe it up. She had a remarkable radar for stray droplets. That little habit stuck with me, and my own kids knew if the sink looked like a splash pad, they'd better clean up.

It is with deep sadness that my cousin Jill has passed. Our families were never close when we were growing up, but our friendship and relationship grew over the past twenty years. We often would share emails back and forth that brought us joy and a family bond. Jill had the spirit, kindness, and toughness of her mother Nina and our grandmother Edith within her soul. I know she is now at peace with our Lord. I will miss you Jill!
