Vernon-Robert B. Reaves, age 68, a longtime resident of the area, passed away August 29, 2019 in the Villa Marie Claire Hospice Center in Saddle River, New Jersey with his loving family at his side. Bob was born on March 10, 1951 in Oneida, New York, a son of the late Jess F. and Marian (Buell) Reaves. He graduated from VVS High School and attended SUNY Brockport. Bob recently retired following several years of being employed as office manager for the Syracuse division of BerkOne (formerly Amtek Corp.), a provider of digital imaging solutions and was formerly employed by American General Life Insurance. Surviving are his children and their spouses, Constance (Michael) Cataldi of Stony Point, Rebecca (Marc) Chin of Ridgewood, NJ, Jess Reaves of Stony Point and five grandchildren (Cooper, Addison, Lucas, Nora and Grayson).
