Obituary of Michelle C. Talarico

Oneida-Michelle C. Talarico, age 66, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday afternoon November 21, 2024 in Crouse Hospital. She was born on May 19, 1958 in Oneida, New York a daughter of the late Lester T. and Therese R. (Vaughn) Rogers and was a 1976 graduate of the Vernon Veron Sherrill Schools. Michelle went on to receive her bachelor's degree from Mary Regina College of Syracuse in education. She was married to Nicholas "Nick" Talarico in 1979 and from that marriage the couple has a son, Matthew, the apple of her eye and in her later years her care giver. Michelle had various jobs in her life in one capacity or another in healthcare services but her greatest joy was being a special education teacher at BOCES in Verona in her early working career. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, arts and crafts, her times spent with her family and friends and watching movies with her son Matthew. Michelle was a true confidant to many as well as a spiritual counselor. She enjoyed sharing the good news of the bible and was a massive animal lover with her pride and joy being BC (Baby cat) who she loved right up until she passes at the age of 21. Surviving is her son Matthew N. Talarico of Oneida, brothers, Paul Rogers of Tennessee, Patrick Rogers of Alabama, Peter of Tennessee, many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and many friends that felt like family as well as her special prayer group she dubbed the prayer warriors In keeping with Michelle's wishes there will be no funeral services.
