Leonard R. "Jim" Faulkner Vernon Center-Leonard R. "Jim" Faulkner, of Bleeker Road passed away Wednesday April 13, 2016 at his home. Jim was the son of Leonard and Linnie (Roberts) Faulkner. He was a Veteran of the Korean War and worked for the New York State Department of Transportation.. Jim married his sweetheart, DeLores Dowd on November 6, 1954 and the couple has shared sixty-two years together. He was an avid hunter ,bowler and loved his roses. Surviving are his wife Delores, children, Scott (Cindy) Faulkner, Gerry Clinch, Kevin (Kim Field) Faulkner, Loren (Toni Mogensen) Faulkner, grandchildren, Erica (Ron Saturino) Shoen, Randi Clinch, Dawn Faulkner, Caitlin Faulkner and Janelle Faulkner, great-grandchildren Jasmine Clinch and Kiara Saturnio. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Malecki Funeral Home Inc., 23 Front Street, Vernon, NY. A funeral service to celebrate Jim's life will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home immediately following calling hours. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the Federated Sportsman's Club of Oneida County for Youth Hunts, C/O Jim Edic, 6635 Cooper Street, Westmoreland, NY, 13490.
