Arlene G. (Whipple) Goodell Oneida-Arlene G. (Whipple) Goodell of Oneida passed away Monday, July 11, 2016 at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was born in Oneida, N.Y. on January 14, daughter of Clarence and Claribel (Gates) Whipple. She was raised in Munnsville, N.Y. and had attended Union Springs Academy and Atlantic Union College. Her passions in life were family, church, music, taking care of others, and animals. She was a devoted Christian woman who served as Sabbath School Teacher and Pianist for many years in her church and others. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew her. Arlene is survived by her daughter, Eileen Goodell of Oneida. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 15, 2016 from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Malecki Funeral Home in Sherrill, N.Y. Services will follow at 6:30 p.m. immediately following calling hours at the funeral home. Private burial will be in Stockbridge Cemetery, Stockbridge, New York. In lieu of flowers if people want they can donate to ADRA adra.org or World Wildlife Federation worldwildlife.org. Online condolences may be sent to maleckifuneralhome.com
