Earl M. Foley "Red"
Waterville-Earl M. Foley "Red", age 84, of Daytonville Road passed away early Sunday morning September 4, 2016.
He was born on July 17, 1932 in Bridgewater, New York a son of the late John T. and Gertrude (Wood) Foley.
On February 20, 1954 Red was united in marriage with Suzanne "Suzie" Vallette and the couple shared a loving union of fifty-nine years together until her death on November 4, 2013.
In 2010 Red retired as a lifelong dairy farmer to care for his ill wife.
He was a veteran of the Korean War and was a member of the Waterville American Legion Post 92, and a former member of the Deansboro Lion's Club.
Surviving are two daughters and one son-in-law, Linda Foley Kaiser (Mike) of Oriskany Falls, Judie Pedersen of Vernon, one son and daughter-in-law, Todd (Serena) Foley of Waterville, six grandchildren Jennifer (Chad) Chapman, Kala Kaiser, Kevin Pedersen, Karie Hawkins (Doug McCormick), Savannah McConnell and Sean McConnell, four great-grandchildren, Brendyn and Brody Chapman and Mikeal and Haylee Hawkins and a special friend Rick Eisenhut, his dog Jill and cat Wombat.
Earl was predeceased by his wife Sue Foley, one son James E. Foley, two sisters and two brothers.
In keeping with Red's wishes the family will be holding a private service for family and friends. There will be no public calling hours or funeral services. Burial will be in Waterville Cemetery, Waterville, New York. Online condolences may sent to maleckifuneralhome.com
