Warren E. Talbot

Sherrill-Warren E. Talbot, age 65, passed away unexpectedly Monday afternoon June 19, 2017 at his home in Sherrill on E. Hamilton Ave. after being stricken ill.

He was born on May 1, 1952 in Queens, New York a son of Donald E. and Dorothea (Bauer) Talbot and was a graduate of V.V.S. Central School and received his Associates Degree in public health from Morrisville College in 1972.

On September 20, 1975 Warren and Kim Mancuse were united in marriage in St. Helena's Church of Sherrill and shared this loving union of over forty-one years together.

Prior to his retirement Warren was the superintendent of the water department for the City of Sherrill.

In his spare time he enjoyed gardening, golfing and was an avid reader.

Surviving are his loving wife Kim of Sherrill, his four children and their spouses, Katherine (Christopher) Hurrle of Canastota, Daniel (Brenna) Talbot of Sidney, Joshua Talbot of Sherrill, Rebekah Talbot of Oaksville, his beloved grandchildren, Brendan and Hannah Talbot and Emma Hurrle, his father Donald E. Talbot of Sherrill, two brothers, Michael (Judi) Talbot of Bastrop, TX, and Gregory Talbot of Sherrill, one brother-in-law, Charles Mancuse of Vernon and several nieces and nephews.

Warren was predeceased by his mother Dorothea in 1992.

Private calling hours will be at the family's convenience. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 26, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Malecki Funeral Home Inc., 464 Sherrill Rd, Sherrill, NY with Rev. Robert Catherwood Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Valley View Cemetery, Oneida, New York. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 502 W. Chestnut Street, Rome, NY, 13440.
