John "Jack" P. Conniff SHERRILL – John "Jack" P. Conniff, age 69, of Kinsley Street, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2017, at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Utica. Born on April 3, 1948, in Oneida, N.Y., he was the son of John and Esther (McKay) Conniff. He was a graduate of Vernon-Verona-Sherrill High School. Jack went on to study at Miami Dade College and the Utica School of Commerce. On October 7, 1972, Jack was united in marriage to Terry Kozlowski at St. Peter's Church in North Utica. He served in the Army from 1971 to 1973. Jack worked at Oneida Ltd. until his retirement in 2010. Survivors include, his loving wife of almost 45 years, Terry Conniff of Sherrill; his three sons, John Conniff of Washington D.C., James Conniff of Syracuse, and Joseph and Jennifer Conniff of Sherrill; his daughter, Tracey Conniff of Sherrill; his two grandchildren, Cayden and McKenna, whom he loved dearly; his siblings, Thomas Conniff and Robert Conniff of Sherrill, and Mary Ann Johnson of Chittenango; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Donna and Dominick DeMarco of Lee Center; his very special grand niece and nephew, Kiya and Deacon Marshall, and many nieces and nephews. In keeping with Jack's wishes, private visitation and services will be held at Malecki Funeral Home Inc. 464 Sherrill Road, in Sherrill. Burial will be in St. Helena's Cemetery in Oneida. The family would like to thank Officer Robenski, and the nurses and staff at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center for their care and compassion during Jack's stay.
