Obituary of Agnes S. Bush

Sherrill-Agnes S. Bush, age 93, formerly of Sherrill and more recently of the Presbyterian Home passed away peacefully Monday morning July 16, 2018 at the nursing facility. She was born on March 20, 1925 in Rome, New York a daughter of the late Harold and Loretta (McCarthy) Stone and was a graduate of Sherrill High School. On August 31, 1944 Aggie and Percy L. Bush were united in marriage in St. Helena's Church of Sherrill and have shared this vow for almost seventy-four years together. Aggie was a very social person, who loved to dance. She was a member of the Sherrill American Legion Auxiliary; the Eagles Club in Florida, St. Helena's Church of Sherrill and was a past member of the Sherrill PTA. Surviving are her husband Percy L. Bush of New Hartford, one daughter Kristine (Shannon) Tilbe of Steamboat Springs, CO, her beloved grandchildren, Robyn Conniff of Carrboro, NC, Christopher Conniff of Sherrill, Collin (Whitney) Tilbe of Littleton, CO, Marc (Aleksandra) Tilbe Forest Hills, NY, son-in-law Michael Rosselle of Sherrill, and brother Jack (Dorothy) Stone of Sherrill, two great-grandchildren, Quinn and Corbett Tilbe and several nieces and nephews. Agnes was predeceased by her daughter Kathryn Roselle and two of her siblings, Harold W. (Irene) Stone and Leona (Leroy) Hollingsworth. In keeping with Aggie's wishes there will be no calling hours. A mass of Christian burial to celebrate Aggie's life will be held in St. Helena's Church, Primo Ave., Sherrill, at a later date to be announced.
