Obituary of Joan T. Scholl

Joan T. Scholl, of Syracuse, NY passed away Monday, October 15th, 2018 at Crouse Hospital. Born in 1932 in New York, NY, to William and Isobel Masterson Tode', Joan graduated from Farleigh Dickinson University. Joan went on to work at AMF Head Inc., USTA, and retired from The Bedens Brook Club in 1999. A long time resident of New Jersey, Joan moved to the Syracuse area in 2001. A volunteer at St Joseph's Hospital gift shop and a heart volunteer at Upstate University Hospital, Joan became known as the Chocolate Chip Cookie Lady. Always doing for others. Joan had many passions, gardening, painting, decorating and crafting. She loved everything ocean and beach, and her family. She is survived by her children, Jacquelyn, John, Jennifer, and James (Stacey). Grandchildren, Alison, Alana, Nicholette, Dylan, and Brielle, brother William (Marcia) Tode ? and extended family in the US and Canada. Joan is predeceased by her husband, John P. Scholl and son, Jeffrey. Memorial gifts may be made to the American Heart Association. Malecki Funeral Home, Sherrill, NY, has been entrusted with arrangements.
