Obituary of Margaret Fuller

Sherrill-Margaret “Peg” Fuller, age 93, formerly of Chapel Street passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at the home of her son Thomas and daughter-in-law Sue Fuller in LaGrange, Kentucky where she was more recently resided. She was born on January 27, 1928 a daughter of the late Harold and Kathleen M. (Manchester) Bessmer and was a graduate of Sherrill High School. On July 1, 1949 Peg and Thomas O. “Itch” Fuller were united in marriage in Annunciation Church of Clark Mills and shared that sacred vow of over sixty-three years together until Mr. Fuller’s death on December 16, 2012. Peg enjoyed gardening, and was a very talented artist. She was a devout catholic who enjoyed attending daily mass at St. Helena’s Church in Sherrill. Peg was a homemaker, a vocation she enjoyed immensely and did with much pride and compassion while caring for her family. Surviving are her children and their spouses, Michael and Mary Lynn Fuller of Sherrill, Thomas and Sue Fuller of KY, Mark Fuller of Rochester, Otis and Dinah Fuller of Munnsville, daughter Deborah and Hugh Wheeler of Durhamville, Martin Fuller of Sherrill and Timothy (Champ) Fuller of KY, one brother Fredrick (Kerry) Besmer, sixteen grandchildren and twenty-nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Peg was predeceased by her husband Tom, son Matthew, sister, Betty Alstadt and brother Kerry Esner. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, September 17, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Malecki Funeral Home Inc., 464 Sherrill Rd., Sherrill, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 12:00 noon at St. Helena’s Church, 210 Primo Ave., Sherrill, NY.
