Obituary of Karen E. Pidutti

Jamesville-Karen Elizabeth (Morrissey) Pidutti, of Jamesville NY, passed away peacefully at their home on October 03, 2021 with her loving husband Charles by her side whom she shared a loving union of 21 years. She was born in Rome, NY on June 17, 1951 to Franklin and Trudy Morrissey. Karen graduated from VVS Central School and furthered her education with a Masters Degree in Nursing. She was a very compassionate registered nurse for 45 years and a devoted caregiver to all that she met. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Karen. She had a tremendous passion for swimming and walking. She developed many friends on daily walks at Green Lakes State Park, accompanied by Charles and their two Labradors Norman & Nantucket. Her unwavering faith in God gave her daily strength. She will be deeply missed by her husband and family. Karen is survived by her devoted husband Charles Pidutti, sister JoAnn Furlong (Michael) of Andover, Massachusetts, brother James Morrissey (Zoe) of Oneida, NY, and nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Monday, October 11 at Malecki Funeral Home 23 Front Street, Vernon, NY from 11:00 am 1:00 pm. A Funeral service of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Immediately following with internment at the Evergreen Cemetery in Lee Center, NY. A celebration of Karen's life will be held afterwards (place to be determined).
