Timothy R. Boice-Durant New York City- Timothy R. Boice-Durant, age 45, a former V.V.S. graduate passed away peacefully Friday morning May 1, 2015 in New York Presbyterian Hospital with his loving family by his side. He was born on January 15, 1970 in Rome New York; son of Richard K. Boice and Margaret Durant. His love for travel and interpreting seven languages fluently took him to New York City where he worked for United Airlines as an interpreter, a career he enjoyed immensely. In his spare time Timothy enjoyed spending time with his friends and his canine companion Jada. He is survived by his beloved mother, Margaret Durant of Kirkville, his father Richard K. Boice of Oriskany Falls, one sister Cynthia Boice-White of Baldwinsville and two cherished nieces, Ashley White and Noele White as well as many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 5:00 to 7: 00p.m. at the Malecki Funeral Home Inc., 23 Front Street, Vernon. A mass of Christina burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Family Church, Peterboro Street, Vernon with Rev. Thomas Durant celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Oneida, New York.
