Betty J. Gagen Walton-Betty Joyce (nee: Gaffga) Gagen born February 19, 1934: Betty passed away in Baltimore, Maryland after a short illness on June 14, 2015. Betty was the eldest daughter born in Greenport, Long Island, New York to the late Louis W. Gaffga & Jessie M. (nee: DeLong). She graduated from Southold High School in 1952. Betty married Bernard G. Gagen on July 10, 1954 and had three sons. They were long time residents of both Sherrill, and Walton, New York. Betty is predeceased by her husband Bernie and middle son Mark E. Gagen, brother in law Charles A. Gagen and wife Lucy. She is survived by her two sons Lawrence (Larry) B. Gagen and wife Carol, James (Jay) A. Gagen and wife Tamara (Tami), her sister Patricia J. Gaffga, brother-in law John A. Gagen & wife Barbara, brother-in law Walter E. Cain & wife Patricia. Grandchildren Leslie A. Sult & husband Lucas, Danielle L. Gagen, Dustin J. Gagen, & Christina Reiss. Great-children Cameron, Colt, and Brody. Betty is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, June 19, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Malecki Funeral Home, 464 Sherrill Road, Sherrill, New York 13461. A funeral mass will be held at St. Helena's Catholic Church 210 Primo Avenue, Sherrill, New York 13461 at 10am on Saturday June 20, 2015 with burial to follow at St. Helena's Cemetery 1776 Middle Road, Oneida, New York 13421.
