Verona- Judith C. "Judy" Warren, age 84, formerly of Verona and more recently of the Katherine Luther Home passed away early Monday morning September 11, 2023 at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center.
She was born on January 1, 1939 in Oneida, New York a daughter of the late Charles D. and Cecelia (Fahy) Clark and was a graduate of Oneida High School.
Judy went on to receive her nursing degree from St. Elizabeth's School of Nursing. She worked as an LPN at several healthcare facilities before becoming an Alcohol Counselor at numerous facilities.
Judy was married to Donald W. Casler who predeceased her in 2021 and from that marriage the couple had four beautiful children. She later married Jack Warren who also predeceased her.
Judy wanted people to know that "God brought Judy to AA and AA brought Judy to God". She was a member of the Oneida Alano Club and served as a past board member of the Madison County Consumers Services. In her spare time, she volunteered her time helping people with their recovery from alcohol and drugs, she enjoyed gardening and travel. She was of the Catholic Faith.
Surviving are her children and spouses, Don Casler, Michael Casler and Nicole (Henderson), Lisa Casler, Dan Casler (Sara Vail) and Theresa (Carney); her beloved grandchildren, Erica (Charlie) and Alexandra Wright (Tricia), Shawn, Derek (Stephanie) and Tyler Casler, Marissa (Kobie) and Amanda Casler (Colin); three great-grandchildren, Prestyn, Marleigh and Charlie, and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, September 18, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Spirit of Home Parish (Holy Family Church) 4352 Peterboro Street, Vernon, New York with Pastor Christopher Ballard celebrant.
