Obituary of Wanda M. Hutchings

Morrisville-Wanda M. Hutchings, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on May 7, 2023, at the age of 62. Born on July 8, 1960, to William and Beverly Wojdyla, Wanda's zest for life and love for her family touched many hearts throughout her life. Wanda is survived by her loving children, Charlene Eaton, David Robbins, Angela Hodges, and Jared Hutchings, as well as her cherished grandchildren, who brought her immeasurable joy. She was a devoted homemaker who took pride in creating a warm, nurturing environment for her family. Wanda had a passion for baking, and her delicious homemade treats will be fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of tasting them. In addition to her culinary skills, Wanda had a soft spot for animals, especially puppies and kittens. Her compassionate nature extended to all living beings, and she always found joy in caring for the furrier members of her family. Wanda's big belly laugh and sincere smile were infectious, brightening the lives of everyone around her. Her fun-loving spirit and unwavering kindness will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours for Wanda on Friday, May 12, 2023, from 4 to 6 pm at Malecki Funeral Home in Vernon, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, May13, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 5652 E. Main Street, Verona, NY. with Rev. Edmund Castronovo celebrant. Private burial will be at a later date in Verona Cemetery, Verona, NY.
